Our client qualified as a nurse back in her home country in Africa. She instructed our firm to assist with her Tier 2 (General) visa application in order to start a new position working as a nurse in the United Kingdom.
The case was particularly complicated as she had not been entitled to claim public funds under the conditions of her previous Tier 2 (General) visa, however, she has been ill-advised by health care professionals that she could which was a breach of her conditions.
Representations were made to the Home Office in addition to her application and agreement to pay back the benefits resulting in a successful application. She has since started her new role at the NHS from November 2019.
