Nicholas has over 20 years’ personal injury, accident and general civil litigation, at all levels from small claims to multi-track, and in the High Court, County Court and tribunals and have acted for both claimants and defendants.
He has provided advisory, drafting and advocacy services from pre-action advice, through drafting statements of case and further information documents and providing written advice on the merits and on quantum of damage, to representation at trial across a wide range of accident litigation including road traffic, highways, occupiers’ liability, accidents at work, disrepair and defective premises, complex multiple injuries, consequential commercial losses, lost earnings, credit hire and costs issues.
Nicholas studied classics and philosophy at Oxford University before converting to law. He practises at the independent Bar from Chambers at 10 King’s Bench and has been working closely with Oracle Solicitors for more than 10 years.
He is also able to provide particular assistance with some cases involving overseas clients or foreign documentation, having a good knowledge of French and German, and some knowledge of Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
