Marjana has been working as a German lawyer for Oracle British Solicitors Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH since June 2020. She completed her apprenticeship as a legal secretary in Berlin and thus got to know the legal profession from the practical side at an early stage. She then studied law at the Free University of Berlin with a focus on civil law.
Throughout her studies, Marjana continued to work part-time in her profession as a legal secretary, thus combining her practical experience with theory from the very beginning. After her first state examination in 2016, Marjana completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Berlin. She initially completed her clerkship at a law firm specialising in medical law.
She then worked in a multi-faceted law firm, particularly in the areas of traffic law, criminal and administrative offences law, social law and statutory health insurance law. During her legal clerkship, Marjana volunteered as chairperson of the staff council for legal clerks. After successfully passing the second state examination in 2020, Marjana joined Oracle as a lawyer for aviation law in order to contribute her previous professional experience and her strong ability to work in a team.
Here, together with Stefan Weckenmann, she heads the departments for Northern and Eastern Germany, in particular Berlin, Königs Wusterhausen, Hamburg, Bremen, Dresden, Hanover and Leipzig.
Marjana is fluent in English and French, the latter acquired mainly through her school year abroad in France.
