Manuela is an Italian qualified lawyer specializing in Civil law and law regarding new emerging technologies and innovation.

Manuela is the Head of Operations and Legal in our Italian office. She graduated in law at University of Federico II in Naples with a thesis in Institutions of Roman law.

After her graduation she gained an experience in civil law, along with a focus in commercial law, corporate law, bankruptcy law and protection of intellectual property.

Manuela represented clients in the judicial authorities on business matters, bankruptcy and labor law, Court of Appeal, Court of Auditors and TAR.

Manuela has also worked as a defense lawyer in numerous judicial proceedings relating to one of the largest financial crashes in Italian history. Recently Manuela has been dealing with the law of new technologies and innovation, this covered a wide range of high-profile cases from the impact of artificial intelligence to the development of blockchain and smart contracts, from innovation in the field of intellectual property to the critical issues of cyber security and privacy protection.

Manuela also has 7 years of experience in Aviation law which allowed her to study and deepen her understanding into sector legislation and the problems relating to it.

Whilst a referent of Salerno Bar Association she organized, and moderated conferences aimed at training the forensic class in the law of new technologies and innovation.

In addition, Manuela deals with Sports law since 2021, supporting prosecutors and sports observers in the activity of representing players in the Italian and foreign championships.

She is a native Italian speaker and is also fluent in English.
