His specialisation lies in passenger rights claims under regulation EU 261/2004, the Montreal Convention, and other consumer aviation laws. This includes aircraft accidents and personal injury claims to regulatory compliance, he possesses comprehensive legislative and regulatory expertise.

Jan has successfully represented numerous large aviation corporates, deftly navigating the complexities of aviation disputes with an exceptional track record.

Jan completed his studies at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz with a focus on corporate and capital markets law. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt am Main and became a licensed lawyer.
