Marjana Ott

Marjana is an aviation lawyer in our Frankfurt office, specialising in dispute resolution. She supports her clients passenger rights claims, handling regulation EU 261/2004, the Montreal Convention, and other consumer aviation laws.

Marjana legislative and regulatory expertise extends across a broad spectrum, encompassing aircraft accidents, personal injury claims, and regulatory compliance and more. Marjana has consistently proven herself as a valuable asset to large corporate clients entangled in complex aviation disputes.

Marjana has a strong understanding of the regulatory and legislative framework in the aviation sector allowing her to advise her clients accordingly.

Prior to joining Oracle, she studied law at the Free University of Berlin, specialising in civil law. Throughout her studies, Marjana continued to work part-time as a paralegal, thus combining her practical experience with theory early on.

She trained and completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin where she was admitted as a lawyer. She initially completed her clerkship at a law firm specialising in medical law. Subsequently, she worked in a multi-faceted law firm, in particular in the areas of traffic law, criminal and administrative offences law, social law and statutory health insurance law.

Marjana’s native language is German, but is also fluent in English and French, the latter acquired when living for a year in France.

As well as languages, Marjana also actively volunteered as the Chairperson of the staff council for legal clerks.
